Arun R

Arun Ramanathan, aka Arun R, for obvious reasons, has been a regular fixture in Hong Kong’s nightlife scene for over 10 years.

From the outset he has received critical acclaim and shaken floors through residencies and regular spots at local hotspots such as FINDS, Drop, Gecko, Midnight & Co (formerly Yumla), Zuma, Ozone (Ritz Carlton), Oma and W Hotel.

His musical roots were planted during his early teen years through a gifted set of second-hand drums and random percussion instruments collected during his regular and varied travels.  A few years later, he landed himself a pair of low-torque turntables, and everything he has accomplished since has been a progressively upward and forward step in his musical journey.
