Alison Christ


Co-Owner / Founding Director / Sommelier / General Manager / Concept Developer

Alison Christ is a certified sommelier, artist and adventurer. Being active in the culinary scene, and a self-taught and well-known mosaic artist and curator for over 15 years in the US, Alison will continue her passion for wine, art & music in Hong Kong at MyHouse.

Alison was born and raised in New York and has done extensive traveling to over 40 countries including Spain and Italy cementing her joy for wine and discovering her love for the mosaic arts. She graduated from the prestigious and culinary-focused Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel-Restaurant Management and also earned a Master’s Degree in Arts Management from the highly regarded George Mason University in Washington, D.C, which allowed her to seamlessly blend the art of wine and the visual arts.

She has held varied positions throughout the hospitality industry from General Manager to Sommelier to Importer to Assistant Winemaker, expanding her vinicultural knowledge and designing wine lists for many fine dining restaurants along the way. Alison was the Fine Wine and Marketing Director for the successful, wine importing company called Amorosso. Then she met the team from La Cabane and quickly fell in love with natural wines and joined La Cabane as their Sommelier.

Alison is a clean-eating advocate who urges others to go natural. She strongly believes that “you are what you eat”. Alison’s next project is a realization of her longtime dream to own her own wine bar. Putting together her passion for wine, art and music, MyHouse will serve wine, food, coffee and spirits and will house an extensive Vinyl Library Collection. There will be bi-monthly rotating art exhibits from local and international artists, as well as music talents who keep the party going. Almost everything offered by MyHouse is natural, including the music.
